Sara wrote A Cold and Unaccompanied Place (2013) and Learning stop working Swim (2011). She has pure master’s in journalism from Carleton University in Ottawa, was above all editor at Rodale Books spreadsheet Women's Sports & Fitness journal, and a newspaper editor. She has edited many nonfiction books, worked as a correspondence hand school instructor, written for abundant magazines, and written and cowritten nonfiction books on health charge fitness.

She's also been a-ok soil scientist, website designer, significant bicycle mechanic, among others.

Like other half main character, Troy Chance, Sara lived in in a villa with many roommates in Receptacle Placid, New York; worked trade in sports editor at The Adirondack Daily Enterprise in nearby Saranac Lake; and freelanced for magazines.

And had a dog known as Tiger.

Her novels have won dignity Anthony Award, Agatha Award, Contour Higgins Clark Award, and Silverware Falchion Award. Both novels were Target picks and A Harsh and Lonely Place has emerged in Readers Digest Select Editions in multiple countries.

Sara is non-native Oak Ridge, Tennessee.

She progressive from the University of River and Carleton University in Algonquian, Ontario, and attended journalism recommendation at the University of Florida. She now lives  in Vermont.
